I have just had the most pleasant OS install experience of my life. I know its a big call and to be fair it was via a Virtual Machine which gave me a level of assurance that I wasn't about to lose the crown jewels. However, when an install takes less that 30 minutes to be up and running then all I can say is "Ubuntu Rocks!"
As this is my first experience with a GUI linux client since my university days with X-windows I know I am up for a step learning curve. But as with everything, a great first experiences makes it worth the effort, so I'll keep you posted as I start playing.
